Why Join Us?

The need for learning with that face to face connection is why we participate in guilds and classes and of course since we don’t knit out of necessity this becomes a social and enjoyable event.  When a group of people get together and they have one thing they enjoy doing like knitting, they have a tendency to put aside differences in background, age, politics and religion.  Knitting brings people together that otherwise would not meet and have the potential to become good friends.  How wonderful that is since they have this thing called knitting in common and it very important to both of them.  We also participate to show a finished project, to see others projects, and get recognition – a sense of community that is important to most of us even in our hobbies and crafts.  So come join us and experience knitting at its best.
